A Pariah, Like the Crow by Shaakira Ally

I’m just like the pariah of the bird family: the crow Misjudged, misunderstood and yet both of our iridescence gives off a remarkable glow
I don’t need approval from those bozo’s Sometimes I wonder who of us are really in the gallows? Their minds are so narrow This outcast however, could be the next Plato They’re chickens and I’m like a crow I’m able to fly while they forever remain low!
How grateful I am to be a weirdo They’re arrogant like pharaoh So spineless, almost nothing remains left of their bone marrow
Did they expect me to remain weak and soft like cookie dough? Well, to hell with their woe! I’m brave enough to glide through a tornado! I’ve already survived things more wrecking then a torpedo!
Poetry is a beautiful form of expression truly understood by a few like Luo Fu Until eternity I’ll keep very stone they throw, Because it only ignites the fire within me to continue to grow!
