A Dream
By Saskia Rinelsa Griffith
Standing in the garden
Listening to each other's hearts go
The rhythmic murmur exhibits how we feel
Your eyes piercing through my soul
I'm afraid to look away
For I may miss your beautiful stare
The way you hold me in place
It's as though time has gone still
Awaiting our next move
Your laughter is music to my ears
When our lips meet
I can feel the pollen piercing my skin
The flowers' glow being ignited
With our passion
My alarm goes off
I've only now realized
It was just a dream
