That last part is important. Maybe you want help with pacing but are not ready for line edits. Maybe you want to know whether the emotional beat lands but don’t want grammar corrections yet. Maybe this is a rough first draft and you only want big-picture reactions. Tell us. The clearer the request, the more useful the critique can be.
