Tirthankar D`Raptan, born in Bengal, has been creatively active since his childhood as a writer and artist. Named Asia’s Most Influencer Author of the Year 2025, he has received numerous honours, including the Dickens Medal, the Kafka’s Plaque of Honor, Top Emblem of Excellence Awards, the prestigious Legacy of Literature Award for Literature Excellence and the Prestigious International Hope Book Awards for Fiction with Purpose. He has also been honoured as Author of the Year 2026 Finalist by the Prestigious International Hope Book Awards committee.His acclaimed works span anthologies, novels, short stories, and plays.He has published his novels 'Penance', 'The Auspicious Child', 'Heir', 'A Condolence Message' & poetry collections 'Some Funeral Dirges for Refugees' and 'Dawn in a Dream and I Am Alone' & short story'The True Story of another War' through KDP. For 'Some Funeral Dirges for Refugees' he was honoured as Poet of the Year in 2025 by Exceller Books and Ukiyoto Publishing, and was also selected as Author of the Year by some other cultural organizations.
