Heleena Rose Teresa
Writer from Kerala, India
I write before feelings learn how to behave, turning ordinary moments into quiet poetry with hidden emotions.
Their story
I wrote endlessly as a child, but none of those poems survived because I was too young and foolish to realize memories can disappear. Then life and pressure dragged me toward science instead of art, and somewhere between failure, loneliness, and silently enduring everything alone, I lost not just my words but parts of myself too.
I never turned my pain into statuses or loud confessions, I just carried it quietly until it became unbearable. Writing always felt like sharing my burdens with a best friend, so when life grew too heavy for silence, poetry returned and spoke for me.
