The mirror

The Mirror I looked in the mirror I did not like what I saw I lost my weight I looked again I found myself dark this time I applied serums, creams I looked again I yet did not like what I saw I found scars I applied ointments I looked again I yet didn't like what I saw I found their numbers increasing They are dark, nasty and disgusting I rubbed them with water I rubbed them with soap I rubbed them harsh till my skin peeled off I heard them whispering loud in my ear "They are who I am" I heard them warning my eyes "They have to be always seen"

The Neem tree and me

The Neem Tree and I Neem tree grows. I grow too... just with responsibilities. Neem tree has leaves of different shades I have shades of my own too... just that they are for different people. Neem tree has dark, rough bark I have it too... just in the form of scars that cannot be seen. Neem tree changes with seasons I change too... just that it is in accordance with people and situations. Neem tree heals people I do too... except... I fear I only sting them with my worries, grief and... Neem tree has bitterness worshipped by people I have it too... just that it pushes away people from me. Neem tree provides shade I provide it too... just that it is a shade of my own anguish. Never come near me, feed me, dear me like you do for the neem tree.
