Poet from Meghalaya, India
A poet/writer who writes through both silence and storm.
Their story
While struggling through endless battles in life, I have been having sleepless nights, overwhelming thoughts and emotions come and go like powerful storms, there came a moment, during a silent night, I was in war with my feelings and my thoughts, when I was about to give up fighting the silent battles, while I felt hopeless and helpless, I picked up myself as always and at that moment of the night I started to note down the roaring thoughts and emotions, putting them all into words, one by one.
While doing that all, I felt different, the feeling I experienced was unique and peaceful. And since that very night, whenever my lips cannot speak or communicate during my tough times, I write them down. And I keep writing again and again. And I find myself at ease whenever I write. The heaviness in my heart gets better and better.
That's how my writing journey began. I realized that the best way to help myself is by connecting with myself. It didn't matter if my writings were messy or not, I just kept writing whenever I needed to, and saved them as notes. And now, here I am, with a little ray of hope in this hopeless world we live in, I hope that by connecting with the world, we would not just share words or expressions but also peace and courage by connecting with each other through our writings.
By sharing our thoughts and emotions with each other would bring some peace and smile to many.
