Lorena Iuliana Mariș

I have been writing since childhood, when words first became a quiet place where I could keep my thoughts and emotions. Over the years, life took me through university, family, motherhood and many different experiences, and writing sometimes had to wait. But it never truly left me. Poetry always found its way back into my life, especially during the moments that moved me most. I have published two poetry books, “Poezii” and “Emoții cordiale”, and I am currently working on my third. I am also writing an illustrated children’s book, inspired by childhood emotions, fears and the courage to overcome them. Being a mother has changed the way I write. Many of my deepest emotions now begin with the world I see through my children’s eyes. For me, writing is not simply about putting words on paper. It is about turning feelings into something that can remain, reach someone else and perhaps make them feel less alone.
