My writing journey
I didn't begin writing because I had beautiful things to say. I began because there were feelings I didn't know where to put.
Somewhere between the things I couldn't express, the words I never said, and the emotions I kept to myself, poetry became a place where I could finally be honest. I started writing about heartbreak, silence, childhood, loneliness, love, and the little things that leave the deepest marks on a person's heart.
I've always felt that some emotions are too delicate to be explained and some silences carry more meaning than words ever could. Perhaps that's why I write to give those feelings a voice, even when my own falls quiet.
I'm still learning, still growing, and still finding pieces of myself in the words I write. I don't claim to have all the answers. I only hope that somewhere, someone reads my words and feels a little less alone.
For me, poetry isn't about having the perfect words. It's about being honest enough to write the imperfect ones.
And if my words can make even one person feel understood, then perhaps every feeling I turned into poetry has found its purpose.
