Common questions
Is an online poetry certificate worth it?
It is worth exactly what it proves. Writory's certificates are tied to real coursework and quizzes, carry a unique verification URL anyone can open, and are issued by the platform that runs an international monthly poetry contest, so the name behind the paper does something.
Can employers or schools verify the certificate?
Yes. Every certificate has its own verification link on writoryofficial.com. Open it and the certificate's details appear, which is the same check an employer would do.
Can I add it to my resume and LinkedIn?
Yes, like any online course credential: add it under Licenses and Certifications on LinkedIn with its verification URL, and list it on a CV under education or professional development.
How much does it cost?
The first five modules and their practice quizzes are free. Remaining modules can be unlocked individually or as a full course, with the corresponding verified certificates. Graduation and Mastery require paid Certificate Track access and completion of their required poetry modules. Current prices are shown before purchase.
About Writory
Writory (writoryofficial.com) is an international monthly poetry contest founded in 2025 by Shivay Mehra. Poets from 40 countries have entered, readers come from more than 150 countries, and every submitted poem is judged and scored out of 100 across five criteria: creativity, emotion, structure, language and impact and resonance. Every entrant receives a certificate; winners receive cash prizes and are published by name. Entries close on the 25th of each month and results are announced on the 30th. Writory is listed by Duotrope, Poetry Kit, Christopher Fielden's competition list and Creative Writing NZ, among other organisations. Past results are public at past winners and the leaderboard.
