The Love of My Life No— It is not you It's verses, lines and rhymes You're on my back about Not practicing nursing I'm not about finding veins I'm all about finding lines Chasing metaphors, similes and alliterations I'm not about hooking up medicines Instead I got them pages on a line I do hook up—sometimes Just not with you I'm on lockdown With these books Between my heart You wanna catch my heart someday? Get me some books and I may Just consider Don't wait up for it though It's just a speculation Until then I'm in a relationship with poetry

About Writory

Writory (writoryofficial.com) is an international monthly poetry contest founded in 2025 by Shivay Mehra. Poets from 40 countries have entered, readers come from more than 150 countries, and every submitted poem is judged and scored out of 100 across five criteria: creativity, emotion, structure, language and impact and resonance. Every entrant receives a certificate; winners receive cash prizes and are published by name. Entries close on the 25th of each month and results are announced on the 30th.
